Nicki Minaj "feels shy" a lot of the time.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker is among the most outspoken and controversial stars in music, but she insists there’s also a vulnerable side to her personality.
The 31-year-old beauty remarked: "I feel shy a lot of times actually. I just push myself to go for it."
Asked what specifically scares her, Nicki told E! News: "Being away from my family and people who love me and love me the most.
"So I’m going to move back to the East Coast … just to keep grounded and be around.
"I want to see my baby brother grow up a little more. I think it’s good for the soul."
Nicki also revealed how excited she is for the launch of her new album, ‘The Pinkprint’, which is set to be released in December.
She shared: "It really shows a lot of growth. I know that my fans are really going to appreciate the subject matter on a lot of the songs."
And Nicki also clarified suggestions she’s set to take an extended break from the industry, saying: "I said [I’d take a break] after the fifth album.
"I’m only about to put out the third album so that’s a long time from now."
