Iggy Azalea’s ex-boyfriend claims they are getting divorced – even though she didn’t realise they were married.
Hefe Wine has filed for divorce from the 24-year-old rapper after insisting they "agreed to be married" after living together in Texas, where the law states a man and a woman can be considered legally married if they live together in the state for any period of time and agree to tie the knot.
According to TMZ, the rapper’s ex – who last month claimed to have a sex tape of Iggy – allegedly insists the former couple "agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September, 2008."
Despite his claims, Iggy’s representative told the gossip website that she has never agreed to marry him and is just after a payday.
The pair have been in a dispute about the music she penned when they were together and should the judge recognise their marriage then Hefe will be entitled to half of everything accumulated during that time.
Iggy – who has been dating LA Lakers basketball player Nick Young for a year – recently filed a lawsuit against Hefe, accusing him of illegally downloading the entire contents of her personal computer while they were living together in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.
However, she didn’t make any mention of the alleged sex tape in court documents.
Iggy has denied the supposed sex tape – which Hefe has reportedly tried to sell for a seven-figure sum – exists and following the allegations she told the crowd at her gig in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, last month that she’d had a "hell of a week" but thanked her fans for getting her through it.
