Idris Elba confused by sex symbol status

Idris Elba says he looks like "s**t" in the mornings.
The 43-year-old heartthrob doesn’t see himself as a sex symbol and can’t understand why so many people praise him for his looks, especially as when he looks at his reflection in the mirror after just waking up he looks less than handsome.
He quipped: "When I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, I look like s**t. I don’t know what everyone else is looking at."
The world’s obsession with the hunky London-born actor – who also performs as a DJ under the name Big Driis – is yet to subside as he’s been dubbed "the Sexiest Actor Alive" by Glamour magazine for the second year in a row, in its May 2016 issue.
However, Idris isn’t interested in "the whole fame thing" and is concentrating on taking care of his family, which includes his two children Isan, 14, with his ex-wife Kim Norgaard and toddler Winston, his son with former girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
The ‘Luther’ star told the first issue of Balance magazine: "I’m not into the whole fame thing. I don’t have celebrity friends. I have the same ones I had from when I was a kid and for me, it’s about my family. I would like to my entire family happy and secure. That’s a lifelong dream of mind: to make them happy."
