Hulk Hogan wants to wrestle Gawker founder

Hulk Hogan thinks it would be "fun" to wrestle Gawker’s Nick Denton.
The 62-year-old wrestler was recently involved in a legal battle with the website – which published footage of the star having sex with his friend’s then-wife Heather Clem – and after winning the case and awarded over $100 million in damages, he’s joked the pair could have come to a resolution much sooner had the battle been in "the ring".
He said: "If this was WrestleMania, he was in the ring with me, it was just me and him, wouldn’t it be fun?"
However, when the star found himself unexpectedly alone with Denton, who he called "the puppet master", in the courthouse bathrooms, he feared there would be a confrontation that could end in a dispute of his word against Denton’s.
He said: "My first thought was, ‘What if he just falls down and holds his neck or something?’ Who are they going to believe?"
Hulk was awarded $140 million from the website, which includes $25 million punitive damages, when the civil case against Gawker found in his favour on Saturday (19.03.16).
At trial, the star argued that his life was torn apart by the publication of the footage, and he was dropped by WWE when a transcript from the sex tape revealed he had made racist remarks about his daughter’s then-boyfriend.
And Hulk – whose real name is Terry Bollea – felt that regardless of whether he won or not, he made the right decision in taking the dispute to court as it allowed him to "expose" the website.
He told ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’: "I knew we were doing what was right. Even if we would have lost, it would have been good because everybody would have known what Gawker was all about, because I exposed them. And what they do, and how they look at the world — which to me, is very, very scary."
Gawker plan to appeal the ruling and Denton has posted an article on his take of the trial and the jury’s decision, which he described as "extraordinary".
