Honey G returns to The X Factor

Samantha Lavery, Ryan Lawrie, Saara Aalto and Yes Lad are this year’s ‘X Factor’ wildcards.
The four contestants – picked by one judge for their fellow panellist’s category – will join Honey G in the line up, after Ivy Grace Paredes had to withdraw from the competition because of visa issues.
Honey G said: "I think Ivy’s voice is incredible and she’s very talented. She definitely would have gone very far in the competition if she had stayed.
"Obviously it’s a great shame she couldn’t progress but I’m very lucky and very happy to be back in the competition, a complete stroke of luck for me. I’m not just belting out an amazing voice; I am what is happening right now in the music scene. I’m the whole shebang."
Elsewhere, Samantha is thrilled that Louis Walsh has given her a second chance to impress her mentor Simon Cowell.
She shared: "I had no idea about the wildcard and couldn’t believe it when I got the call from Louis. I still can’t believe it’s real.
"There were so many tears from me and my family – especially my grandad when I found out I was back in the competition. I feel like I have been given a second chance to prove to Simon I deserve to go to the lives."
Simon opted to give Nicole Scherzinger Ryan Lawrie, who failed to make it through to Judges’ Houses initially after being put in a boy band.
He shared: "It was totally unexpected and I was absolutely buzzing to get a call from Simon. I’m really excited for it and with all the feelings and emotions running through me it just doesn’t feel real at all. I want to show Nicole why Simon brought me back."
Saara Aalto was selected by Nicole for Sharon Osbourne and she has promised to give 110 per cent.
She said: "I’m so happy to get the wildcard from Nicole. She understood me from the first audition. This is the point that can change my life and I know I have so much to give."
Lastly, Yes Lad were selected to join the groups category after Louis booted them out to a series of boos from the crowd during the Six Chair Challenge, which aired on Sunday evening (25.09.16).
They shared: "We thought that was it and we were out. It’s so surreal to now be going to Louis’ house. We feel we’re the underdog and have something to prove to Louis. We have Sharon on our side and she said that she believed in us so hopefully Louis will listen to her."
‘The X Factor’ continues on Saturday October 1.
