Honey G dropped from estate agent job

Former ‘X Factor’ contestant Honey G has been dropped from her job as an estate agent for being "famous".
The 37-year-old aspiring rapper – whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford – was working at Chancellors Estate Agents in London after splitting from Simon Cowell’s Syco label in April, but she was told she would have to quit music if she wanted to continue in the position.
She told The Sun: "They didn’t realise how famous I am.
"My boss had told me that he was expecting me to give up my music career which I am obviously not prepared to do.
"Music is my love and passion, and my ambitions are about being a worldwide music artist."
Despite losing her job, the rapper is determined to make it as a performer and vowed to release new music.
The ‘Honey G Show’ singer said: "I had no intention of being an estate agent long term. "I was hoping that a big opportunity for my music career would come in. I do believe I belong on stage.
"I will be releasing new music soon."
On why she decided to get the job in the first place, she previously said: "I decided to go out and get a job because I wanted the structure in my life, my music is still going really well.
"I was really pleased to get the job because before ‘X Factor’ I really wanted to get into an estate agency, but I couldn’t get a break.
"I think it has helped me, I think all of the achievements on ‘X Factor’ has helped me to get this break with Chancellors being one of the top leading companies."
Insisting her music is still a priority, she added: "My music dream is not is by no means out of the picture. I don’t want people to get the wrong idea that I’ve decided to go out and get a job because I don’t want to do music anymore and it’s not like that at all.
"I’m still running my label, still trying to make it a success, I’m hoping the collab I’ve got coming up is going to help me sort of push it forwards."
