Hollyoaks’ Tony looks set to finally escape Breda when Mercedes finds him

Hollyoaks’ Tony Hutchinson looks set to finally escape Breda McQueen’s clutches when Mercedes McQueen finds him.
The businessman – played by Nick Pickard – has been held captive by serial killer Breda (Moya Brady) for months in the stinky pig farm, but the Channel 4 soap’s winter trailer has revealed he will be found by Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe).
Mercedes – who was recently shot by one of her fellow villagers – also features heavily in the trailer, in which the character wakes up from a coma and reveals she knows who gunned her down.
In upcoming scenes, she says: "The bitch is back."
Mercedes also warns Grace Black (Tamara Wall) to watch out as she continues her raunchy affair with Sylver McQueen (David Tag).
In other scenes, Grace breaks down in tears as she tells brother Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) that she wishes Mercedes was dead.
Elsewhere, Nancy Osborne (Jess Fox) will confess to Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn) that she slept with her ex Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) while the pair were trapped in the village’s tunnels and fearing for their lives.
What’s more, Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) will return to the village.
In the winter trailer, he is seen stepping off a boat with his and Sienna Blake’s (Anna Passey) twins as he tells them that he will get their family back together.
And John Paul McQueen – played by James Sutton – will return to the village and come face-to-face with his rapist Finn O’Connor (Keith Rice).
Gregory Finnegan (James Nightingale) recently admitted fans can "thank him" for James’ comeback after he "egged" his pal on to see if he could come back to the soap.
He told BANG Showbiz: "We’re really good mates, we’re writing partners, so I see him a lot anyway.
"We were having discussions about it in the early part of the year.
"He said, ‘Do you think there would be any interest in that?’
"I egged him on to get in touch and he was like, ‘Oh OK.’
"So I’m basically … you can thank me. We’re all really pleased."
