Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner ‘scared’ Romeo may be jailed

Owen Warner is "quite scared" his ‘Hollyoaks’ character could end up in jail "for a while".
The 19-year-old star feared his alter-ego Romeo Quinn might be banged up for ages when he found out he would be part of the Mac Nightingale (David Easter) death plot.
He said: "I was a bit worried when I first heard about it, to be honest.
"I thought I was going to be in prison for a while and I was quite scared."
Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) was the real culprit after she spiked Mac’s lasagne and then hit him over the head with the dish to finish him off.
But Romeo could still be wind up in jail after he unwittingly turned up at the crime scene and accidentally got the victim’s blood on his clothes, and there is a witness statement saying he threatened to do away with the soap villain.
Owen added to Digital Spy: "It doesn’t really occur to Romeo that he could be going to prison, because he knows he hasn’t killed Mac. James is a lawyer, so Romeo trusts that his dad is going to work his magic.
"It’s only when it’s going on for a longer and longer period of time that Romeo realises it might actually not go his way."
Earlier this week, David joked he will no longer eat lasagne after Mac was killed off as a result of Breda poisoning the pasta dish.
He wrote on Twitter: "I will Never eat Lasagne Again!! (sic)"
