Hollyoaks’ Kieron Richardson got ill filming drug storyline

Hollyoaks’ Kieron Richardson made himself really "poorly" filming his character Ste Hay’s crystal meth storyline.
The 30-year-old actor has revealed he couldn’t stop shaking in real life after he shot scenes of his alter-ego coming off the highly-addictive drug earlier this month.
He explained: "I actually made myself ill filming that! I was shaking all day long, in every single scene, and I think my body reacted by making me feel poorly for real.
"Also, at one point, my tooth hurt so much that we had to stop filming so I could run to the dentist! I had the tooth ripped out and came back to finish the scene."
And, although Kieron is heavily involved in a few major storylines, he has admitted he can’t resist rushing home every night to watch the Channel 4 soap air on screen.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, he said: "I really am a massive ‘Hollyoaks’ fan, so I rush home after work and watch the show! There’s a lot of misery in the village."
Meanwhile, the soap star has been overwhelmed by the amount of support viewers have given his character over the past 12 months and hopes it continues for the next storyline.
He said: "People still talk to me about Ste’s relationship with Brendan Brady every single day!
"They would love them to get back together but obviously that’s not going to happen any time soon. Fans from all over the world have even made the trip to Ha’penny Bridge in Dublin to put their love locks next to Ste and Brendan’s!"
