Hollyoaks boost insurance ahead of ‘biggest ever’ stunt

‘Hollyoaks’ have had to hike up their insurance costs ahead of their "biggest ever" stunt.
Filming is underway on the Channel 4 soap’s latest "unreal stunt", which will be broadcast later this year, and Ross Adams has teased fans they can expect to see something "bigger and better" than the show’s viewers have ever seen before.
When asked if the show have to crank up their insurance costs when the stunts grow, Ross exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I never even thought about that – I bet they do, because there are always unreal stunts.
"This year’s is a good one. I would say it is the biggest ever.
"Every year the stunts get bigger and they better."
While Ross – who plays Scott Drinkwell in the soap – is remaining tight-lipped about what happens in the hotly-anticipated event, he admitted the characters will be left "very dishevelled".
Speaking at the TV Choice Awards at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Monday night (10.09.18), Ross added: "I can tell you that the stunt leaves everyone very dishevelled. I can say that."
This comes after Ross recently hinted he has not been his "usual groomed self" on the set.
He said: "I’ve been filming some pretty awesome stuff over at ‘Hollyoaks’ recently.
"This year’s [stunt] is a corker and without giving too much away, I can tell you that after finishing work recently, I’ve not been my usual groomed self.
"Sadly, I can’t reveal too much because you’ll just have to tune in and see for yourselves."
