Holly Willoughby will definitely leave This Morning if Phillip Schofield departs

Holly Willoughby has reaffirmed her vow to quit ‘This Morning’ if her co-host Phillip Schofield ever leaves.
The duo have fronted the ITV show together for over a decade, and the 38-year-old presenter has stated in the past that she would not want to carry on fronting the programme without Phillip, 57, whilst he has also insisted that he would not want to be on ‘This Morning’ without Holly.
Holly insists her and Phillip’s pact still stands and she is adamant that she’d find a new job if he decided he’d had enough of the series.
Speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine, she said: "We’ve always said from the beginning that if either of us left then we wouldn’t want to do it, as I can’t imagine ‘This Morning’ without Phil, it’s us together."
Holly – who also hosts ‘Dancing On Ice’ with Phillip – believes the secret to their on-screen chemistry is the fact they have a "friendship" off-screen.
She added: "I think it’s the fact that we’ve got a friendship first and foremost. We’ve known each other a really long time now and we pretty much know what the other’s thinking half the time so it makes our working relationship really easy … and fun too!"
Holly and Phillip – who present the brunch-time show from Mondays to Thursdays, with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes hosting on Fridays – have seen their jobs on ‘This Morning’ get longer as ITV extended the programme for 2020.
The magazine programme now begins at 10am after ‘Lorraine’ has aired and is on air until 12:30pm when ‘Loose Women’ then hits screens.
