Holly Willoughby promises Celebrity Juice return

Holly Willoughby has promised she’ll make "special appearances" on ‘Celebrity Juice’ despite quitting as a team captain.
The 39-year-old star announced she’s quitting the outrageous comedy panel show in order to spend more time with her family last month.
But, during her final appearance on the ITV2 show on Thursday night (14.05.20), which was filmed during the coronavirus lockdown from home, she said it won’t be the last time she joins pal and host Keith Lemon on the programme.
Keith told Holly: "We’ve had some fun times over the past 12 years, haven’t we?
"I’m going to miss you."
And the blonde beauty replied: "We have.
"I’m going to miss you too! Lots!"
And when Keith asked Holly if she’ll be back to "make special appearances", she promised: "Absolutely!
"Try and keep me away. I will be back.
"Obviously, I won’t be team captain anymore, because that roll will be going to someone very lucky, but I will be back. I will be on the panel."
Keith recently admitted it’s a "shame" Holly wasn’t able receive a proper send-off from the ‘Celebrity Juice’ crew after 12 years on the show because of the pandemic.
The comedian – whose real name is Leigh Francis – said: "Tonight’s her last show. Next we’ve got a programme which is looking back at ‘Celebrity Juice’ and I have a chat to Holly and say goodbye to her.
"Yeah, it’s a shame that it’s virtual rather than in the studio because I do love hugging Holly Willoughby because she gives good hugs."
Keith also revealed he’s set to meet with ITV bosses to discuss Holly’s long-term replacement on the show.
He said: "I’ve got a meeting about it today because we’ve got to get the right chemistry and everything.
"I don’t know who it is. I’ve seen a lot of names touted around. I saw Michelle Keegan was in for the running and she’s a lovely lady.
"But no one has been discussed, all that’s going to happen today."
Earlier this week, former ‘Coronation Street’ star Michelle Keegan insisted she hasn’t agreed to become Holly’s replacement.
The 32-year-old actress – who is married to fellow TV star Mark Wright – said: "I can officially say that’s not true. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a massive fan of the show. I love the show, I find it hilarious.
"But, at the minute, no, no, that’s not true."
Holly’s exit comes after Fearne Cotton quit as a team captain in 2018.
