Hilary Duff’s estranged husband wants to win her back.
The ‘So Yesterday’ hitmaker, announced her split from Mike Comrie in January after three years of marriage, but the former ice-hockey star, 33, hasn’t given up hope on their relationship as they have reportedly resumed couples counselling together.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Mike doesn’t want to lose her. He’s promised to do better as a husband.
"They’re on the road to reconciliation. Hilary is thinking about letting him back in. She’s scared of empty promises but open to working it out."
The blonde beauty, 26, decided to end her marriage as "she felt like Mike stopped caring about her."
But the pair, who spent 18 months of their union in counselling, are now seeing a marriage therapist again.
Hilary and Mike, who have two-year-old son Luca, sparked speculation they had reunited when they were spotted partying at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last Friday (04.11.14).
But a pal said: "They are simply working on being friends. There’s a lot of love there.
"They were together for a long time and they share friends. It’s just easier this way. They are trying to get along to make it easier on Luca."
