Helen Flanagan says she was worst I’m A Celeb contestant

Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan believes she was the "worst ever" ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ contestant.
The 28-year-old soap star has recalled her stint on the twelfth popular ITV reality television show in 2012 – in which she finished in seventh place – and although she’ll always be grateful to have been given the opportunity to test herself in the jungle she accepts that her dismal displays in most of the Bushtucker Trials means that she has got to be one of the stars who was the least suited to the gruelling series.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "It’s such a great show and it was so cool to be a part of it, although I was rubbish at it – probably the worst ever. I found it so difficult and could never do it again. I think I was a warning to other people who thought it could be an easy ride. I remember my mum called me up the night before I went into camp and said, ‘It’s not too late to back out.’"
Helen struggled in most of the Bushtucker Trials and failed to win a single star to get a meal for her campmates in her first five challenges.
That year, ‘EastEnders’ actress Charlie Brooks was crowned Queen of the Jungle, with ex-Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts finishing runner-up and former world heavyweight champion David Haye coming third.
