Hayley Williams ‘so ready’ to tour with Taylor Swift

Hayley Williams is “so ready” to go on tour with Taylor Swift.

The 35-year-old singer’s band Paramore are set to support the ‘Karma’ singer on the European leg of her ‘Eras’ concert series, and the ‘Misery Business’ hitmaker has praised the songwriting skills her friend has shown on her long-awaited new album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

On Monday (22.04.24), Hayley – whose band were ambassadors for Record Store Day 2024 – shared which artists she had been listening to over the weekend, which included Taylor, Beyoncé, Brittany Howard, Rufus Wainwright, Bee Gees, Tierra Whack, Radiohead, The Smile, Blonde Redhead and Idles.

Of the ‘Anti Hero’ singer’s new album, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend. Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It’s so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor’s words get without ever losing the universal thread.

“I’m so ready to be tour-mates.”

Hayley and Taylor first met when they were both nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy in 2008 and have been close since then.

The ‘Still Into You’ singer recently told People magazine: “Not long after we became friends, [Taylor] knew I felt awkward going to my ex’s wedding, so she tagged along with me, made it fun, and then we ditched the reception to go to the Cheesecake Factory,.

“She recently called when I was going through a rough time, just to listen and crack jokes and give me solid advice that of course sounded like perfectly formed lyrics. She’s funny and so fun.”

Meanwhile, Post Malone recently gushed he is “beyond honoured” to have worked with Taylor on her new single ‘Fortnight’.

Sharing a photo of them together on Instagram, he gushed: “It’s once in a lifetime that someone like @taylorswift comes into this world.

“I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey. I love you so much. Thank you Tay.”

Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, liked the post.
