Hayley Tamaddon would do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ "in a heartbeat."
The ‘Coronation Street’ star says she would love to don some sequins and shimmy around the dance floor on the BBC One celebrity contest following her appearance on ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2010.
When asked if she would enter the show, the 37-year-old actress exclaimed: "Oh my, in a heartbeat!
"As a kid, because I lived in Blackpool, I danced as a kid but we never did ballroom, so I used to go with my mum to watch the ballroom dancers because they always used to dance in the Tower Ballroom.
"I’d just sit and watch four hours about how they did it, so yeah, in a heartbeat. Anything to do with dancing and performing, I would love to do, yeah."
This year however, the former ‘Emmerdale’ actress has been giving former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Mark Wright – who is engaged to her former co-star – some helpful hints she picked up on Dancing on Ice, to improve his performance.
She explained to BANG Showbiz: "Michelle Keegan’s other half is in it, I met him last week, and he was asking me what he can do with his face, so I was giving him a few facial [tips].
"The trick is, if you use this [points at face], it takes it away from the feet you see, if the feet are going wrong. So if you’re using this [points at face], you get a few more points!"
