Halle Berry wouldn’t say no to another Bond film in the future

Halle Berry would like to make another James Bond movie.
The 52-year-old actress – who can next be seen playing Sofia in ‘John Wick 3: Parabellum’ – portrayed Jinx Johnson in 2002’s ‘Die Another Day’ and though she’s currently busy with other career commitments, she’s open to the idea of reprising the role in another installment of the spy saga in the future.
Asked about the possibility, she said: "Well, maybe not tomorrow because I’m kind of busy right now so my dance card is sort of full.
"But in a few years time, if they asked, I’d do it. Right now, I’m busy being a Sofia girl."
And Halle will always have fond memories of working alongside Pierce Brosnan as 007 in the movie.
She said: "It was one of the best experiences of my career working with that family, so I’m excited to see the new film."
The Oscar-winning actress – who has children Nahla, 11, and Maceo, five, from previous relationships – approached director Chad Stahelski about playing Sofia opposite Keanu Reeves in the upcoming ‘John Wick’ movie because she identified with her a lot, and saw no reason why her age should be a barrier to the role.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I knew I was strong enough to do this role which is why I reached out to Chad and told him he didn’t have a choice but to cast me.
"I know I am 52 but I am also strong and active and I am tired of being defined by the number of my birthdays.
"It’s really important that we women start to kick ageism in the face by showing what we can do."
