Hailey Baldwin says dating Justin Bieber is hard.
The 19-year-old model was romantically linked to pop star Justin Bieber, 22, earlier this year when the pair were spotted kissing but Hailey insisted that having a relationship with a celebrity is not ideal.
She told Marie Claire: "I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls … it’s hard to date somebody in this industry.
"You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else. And you have to, as best you can, block out all the extra noise."
And while Hailey doesn’t want attention just for who she dates, she is also determined not to make a name for herself because of her famous friends, including Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
She added: "I just want people to look at me for what I’m doing right now. I would rather people be talking about me as an individual."
Justin and Hailey never confirmed they were dating but she previously admitted their relationship was "complicated".
She said: "He’s going on tour and relationships are just complicated. Everyone is making this to be such a big deal and it’s really not. And it’s just between me and him."
