Gigi Hadid says the "simple things" make her happiest.
The 21-year-old model – who is believed to still be dating Zayn Malik, despite speculation their seven-month romance is on the rocks – loves nothing more than art, cooking and spending time with the people she loves.
Asked what makes her happiest, she said: "Effortless happiness. The things that ground you. For me it’s art and cooking, for example, and when I can be with my friends and the people I love and do simple things. That’s when I’m the happiest…
"[I prefer a] night in. Cook. Paint. Play with my dog. Hang out with my boyfriend. Watch movies. Just chill."
Gigi is proud of her cooking, especially when her grandmother approves of her dishes.
She told Elle.com: "I make this really good tomato soup from scratch and I do it with grilled cheese sandwich dippers on the side. That’s really, really, really good. And my grandma loves that. My grandma is the best cook ever so for her to love that makes me think it’s probably the best thing I make."
The blonde beauty constantly wants to reassure the people she cares about just how much she loves them.
She said: "My biggest fear is the people I love not knowing how much I love them. I just want to remind people all the time."
Despite her stunning looks, Gigi never makes too much effort with her appearance.
She said: "Less is more. I grew up riding horses and on the beach and I never really wore make-up and my mom showed that as an example. She wore makeup, just in a beautiful, effortless way. She was my beauty icon my whole life."
