Gethin Jones has reportedly split from his girlfriend.
The 40-year-old TV presenter has called time on his relationship with lingerie model Katja Zwara, whom he’s been dating for more than a year, after their busy work schedules drove a wedge between them and wreaked havoc for their romance.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Gethin and Katja remain pals but things just didn’t quite work out in the end. They split last month and have gone their separate ways."
Although the split rumours are yet to be confirmed, Katja – who appeared in Olly Murs’ ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ music video – hasn’t shared a photograph of her and Gethin on her social networking sites since October when they dressed up for Halloween.
Prior to getting with Katja, Gethin was romantically linked to Lucy Mecklenburgh but, once again, they decided to part ways in order to focus on their careers.
The 26-year-old beauty – who is now dating Ryan Thomas – said at the time: "We’re not dating. We went out a few times a while ago but it was bad timing for both of us. I was so busy after ‘Tumble’ and he travels a lot, so it wasn’t the best time.
"[We’re in touch] as friends. He’s the nicest guy. It was a mutual thing."
The former ‘Blue Peter’ presenter was also engaged to Katherine Jenkins but they split in 2011 following four years of dating.
She said at the time: "At the end of 2011, when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that, about two weeks later, I had to go on a UK tour where every night I’m singing songs of heartbreak. And every day just trying to find the energy to cope – let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it.
"Meanwhile, everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition – I wanted to take over the world. It was so far from the truth."
She is now married to Andrew Levitas and is currently expecting their second child.
