Georgia May Foote joins The Outpost cast

Georgia May Foote has joined the cast of ‘The Outpost’.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who played Katy Armstrong from 2010 to 2015 – has confirmed her huge news on social media, and described the role of Falista as a "dream".
She tweeted: "So excited to announce (yes this is what i have been dying to tell you) that i will be joining the cast of The Outpost as Falista for @TheCW
"Honest all my dreams have come true! Eeeeeek! (sic)"
Georgia will be part of the cast for the US fantasy drama’s upcoming third season, joining the likes of Jessica Green (Talon) and Jake Stormoen (Captain Garret Spears).
The programme follows Talon – the lone survivor of a race called the Blackbloods – as she tries to master her supernatural powers in a lawless fortress on the edges of the civilised world.
Her former ‘Corrie’ co-star Hayley Tamaddon – who played Andrea Beckett on the cobbles – was quick to offer a message of support.
Alongside two sparkling red heart emojis, she wrote: "Congratulations"
Since leaving ‘Coronation Street’ in 2015, Georgia has appeared on shows likes ‘Celebrity Juice’, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Saturday Kitchen’, as well as playing Holly in ‘Trollied’.
And the star recently revealed she is feeling "happier" than ever, and she’s "proud" of herself after getting "through the hardest times".
Posting a purple heart emoji on social media, she tweeted: "I literally couldn’t feel happier or have a fuller heart than i do right now.
"So many exciting things happening. The best friends, family and family in law ever. The best partner ever.
"It’s so true you have to get through the hardest times for the good. I am proud of myself (sic)"
