Gemma Oaten has been visited by the ghost of her late grandfather.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ star couldn’t believe her eyes this morning (14.03.17) when she woke up to find a white feather, which she believes was left by her dead granddad, sitting untouched on her wet washing after she had a "talk" with him before bed.
Taking to her Instagram account, the brunette beauty uploaded a photograph of the feather on her clean bed sheets sitting on the clothes horse and accompanied it with the caption: "Last night I posted a photo of Grandad and I in memory of his funeral being 2 years ago. I went about getting ready for bed, put washing out to dry and Did some chores. I had a little cry to be honest and then thought of him and had a little "word with him" up there. I went to bed and dreamed of him. This morning I woke up to this… A white feather on the top of my washing… The clothes horse Is inside, all my doors have been closed and nothing stired. I LOVE times like this. Thank you for my feather Grandad. I know you know (sic)," followed by a heart emoji.
The 32-year-old actress hasn’t had the easiest time recently as she was left humiliated last year when Nick Knowles dumped her while they were in bed together and got back with his ex-wife Jessica Moor, with whom he has three-year-old son Eddie, shortly after.
She said at the time:"One Sunday morning we were lying in bed and all these texts came through about us being photographed together.
"In an instant he completely changed. It was all about him and how it was going to affect his family. It was really cruel as he said it didn’t matter for me."
Shortly after he called things off with Gemma, Nick rubbed salt in the wound when he uploaded photos of him enjoying a romantic break with Jessica in Lake Garda, Italy.
