Gemma Collins suspends filming on Diva Forever

Gemma Collins has suspended filming on ‘Diva Forever’ due to coronavirus fears.
The 39-year-old reality star sent her crew working on the upcoming series of her reality show home to help stop the spread of the respiratory disease after the government issued new guidelines on social distancing.
Announcing the news on her Instagram Stories on Monday (23.03.20), she wrote: "Guys it’s important to listen to advice from the government at this time and ‘stop the spread.’
"We’re in the middle of shooting a new ‘Diva’ series but we’re going to pause filming with our crew to adhere to the social distancing guidelines."
Gemma’s comments come after the government unveiled news plans to limit the number of casualties caused by the virus.
The public have been told to stay indoors unless they need to pick up essentials from the supermarket or to get some exercise, as a way to encourage people to distance themselves from others who could potentially have the condition.
To ensure her fans aren’t left disappointed during the unpredictable period, the former ‘TOWIE’ star is planning to release some form of "entertainment".
She continued: "BUT I know a little entertainment is needed so don’t worry we’ll just be doing things slightly differently. What this space. ‘Diva Forever’. (sic)"
Gemma previously admitted to stockpiling for the coronavirus crisis.
She enlisted staff to buy 28 toilet rolls and food such as Yorkshire puddings and mini pancakes from Marks and Spencer.
Filming her supermarket dash, Gemma said: "I’m actually getting a bit worried myself. I didn’t want to get caught up in it all. But we are off to get some food shopping. Operation COVID-19.
"We’re taking no risks. The message I’m trying to get out here, is to do what the government is saying. But we are off to the supermarket to stock up."
The star added: "Thank you to the amazing team at M&S. I’m now on my second trolley. I’ve totally crumbled today. I’ve caved in. I’m ready for coronavirus!"
