Gemma Collins for Strictly Come Dancing?

Gemma Collins has been tipped for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2020.

The 39-year-old former ‘TOWIE’ star is a hot favourite to hit the dancefloor for the BBC One show after producers reversed their ban on reality TV stars.

Bookmakers Coral have given Gemma odds of 4/5 to enter the show this year and have put her at 16/1 to win.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: "We think this is Gemma’s year for the ‘Strictly’ dancefloor.

"She’s odds on to be dancing on our screens once more this autumn."

However, ‘Strictly’ could have some competition as it was revealed last month that ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in the US is also keen to sign up Gemma.

The star is thought to have proved popular Stateside when she made an ‘Orange is the New Black’ cameo, and ‘DWTS’ bookers are now said to have "shown an interest" in signing the ‘Diva Forever’ star up for a future series.

A source previously told The Sun newspaper: "Gemma would love to have another crack at the US.

"The Americans loved her when she made a cameo in ‘Orange is the New Black’ and bookers on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ have shown an interest."

While it is thought this year might come too soon for The GC to take the US show by storm, bosses are said to be looking into the possibility of adding her to their 2021 line-up.

The source added: "Gemma’s schedule is always jam-packed and it’s difficult for this year but the team in the US are keen to secure her for 2021."
