Gemma Collins and James Argent split?

Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent have reportedly split again.

The former ‘TOWIE’ stars have been in an on/off relationship for years, but Arg is now claimed to have told Gemma he wants to be in an "open relationship", after being inspired by Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who recently confirmed August Alsina’s claims he had enjoyed a relationship with the ‘Girls Trip’ actress a few years ago while the married pair had briefly separated.

A source told The Sun Online: "Arg went to Spain and he told Gemma that he wants to go back there forever and be in an open relationship like Jada and Will.

"Gemma is completely shocked and has been left absolutely heartbroken, especially after sticking by him for so long."

Following the reported conversation, Gemma is said to have ended things with Arg, who she recently helped during his cocaine addiction battle.

The source added: "Gemma feels like she’s done everything she possibly can to help Arg but enough is enough."

Arg recently admitted he is grateful for Gemma’s "tough love" during the height of his addiction, even though he resented her at the time.

Speaking in May, he said: "I really feel for Gemma. When I was deep into my addiction I would hate Gemma. She refused to cover up for me. She refused to lie for me.

"She would never lie for me. I hated her because I wanted to almost get away with it. She gave me some tough love for sure and she was hard on me but thank God she was."

Arg was rushed to hospital on two occasions during his cocaine troubles, and on reflection, he thinks Gemma might have saved him from tragedy.

He added: "If it wasn’t for Gemma calling ambulances for me to my house, who knows what could have happened. I put my own life at risk."
