Gemma Atkinson doesn’t get men "hitting on her."
The ‘Emmerdale’ star has admitted she rarely turns heads when she’s out and about in public but she doesn’t mind because she quite enjoying being single.
She said: "I’m happily single. I don’t feel ready to date at the moment. I’m kind of loving being on my own and being able to go out with the girls. You get a few people who watch ‘Emmerdale’ coming over to you but I don’t get anyone hitting on my. I don’t think they’d dare."
The 32-year-old actress split from her fitness trainer boyfriend Olly Foster after two years of dating in July but is still in contact with him and allows him to put together her workout plans for her.
She explained: "He lives in London now, but he still does my training programmes. If I have any shoots coming up I always message him saying: ‘I need to look like this in so many weeks, what do I do?’ He’s amazing at what he does."
And Gemma – who has a strong physique – is no doubt hoping to find a boyfriend that has a similar career path as Olly as she’s regularly told by people that women shouldn’t have muscles.
She told OK! magazine: "I feel sorry for them. My mum’s always said to me that a strong woman intimidates boys but excites men. I think a real woman is whatever she wants to be. I’m more confident now than I was in my twenties."
