Gaynor Faye hints Emmerdale character could die

Gaynor Faye has hinted her ‘Emmerdale’ character could have died – after admitting she hasn’t been on set since filming a horrific car crash.
The 46-year-old actress – who plays Megan Macey in the ITV soap – teased fans that her alter-ego may have perished in the collision, but admitted she could have given supporters a red herring.
She said: "The thing is I haven’t been back and filmed anything since, I’m giving you a clue.
"Or maybe I’m just having some time off, who knows?"
Desperate to find out, Rylan added: "You can’t do that to us!"
Gaynor admitted she is a lot "softer" than her character in real life, and thinks carefully about what she says more than Megan does.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, she said: "There’s bits of me in there, I mean I’m much more of a softer person and definitely think before I speak.
"Megan speaks her mind and has no filter, if anyone comes after her daughter or says anything she’s obviously the Rottweiler as everyone should be."
The dramatic crash scenes will see Frank Clayton – played by Michael Praed since 2016 – finally reunite with Megan after they clashed following her infidelity.
Megan helps Frank out to buy a vintage yellow sports car from Ross Barton (Mike Parr) because he can’t afford it, but before the couple can drive into the sunset, viewers see there is a leak coming from the vehicle that Frank and Megan have failed to notice.
Within minutes of the couple setting off, the car crashes into a ditch, leaving the two upside down and viewers wondering whether they are still alive.
