Gary Barlow promises great shows

Gary Barlow has promised Take That fans a "great show" at their 2015 tour.

The ‘These Days’ group – who are now a trio following the recent departure of Jason Orange – announced a string of arena shows at the weekend and following huge demand for yesterday’s (12.11.14) pre-sale, they have now added extra dates and the singer says supporters are in for a treat.

He tweeted: "Enormous thank you to everyone who pre ordered tour tickets today ! We promise to deliver you a great show #TakeThatLive2015 (sic)"

The group initially announced a 24-date tour kicking off in Glasgow on April 28 at the weekend, but have now added six extra shows in London, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham to cope with demand. All dates are on sale now.

The new dates mean they will perform for seven nights in both London and Manchester.

Support at all the shows will come from Ella Henderson.

The 2015 gigs will see the group – which now comprises Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – take in much smaller shows than their previous two stadium tours, and the ‘Patience’ hitmakers think the more "intimate" setting will benefit fans.

Gary said: "It’s more intimate, our audience have stood in fields for seven years now watching us on a stage that’s miles away, its time to give them a better view."

Howard added: "It will be much the same without the worry that it’s going to rain on us. It’ll be more intimate than stadiums and that’s a good thing."
