Garry Shandling’s death to be investigated by coroner

Garry Shandling’s doctor is refusing to sign his death certificate.
The comedian and actor tragically passed away at the age of 66 on Thursday (24.03.16) from a supposed heart attack but his personal physician is reportedly refusing to sign the official document, prompting a coroner’s investigation into the death.
TMZ reports that Garry’s doctor has repeatedly declined requests to sign the legal document as he did not know how or why the star had died.
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that Garry was suffering from shortness of breath and leg pain hours before his death.
Ed Winter, the Assistant Chief Coroner, said: "[His friend] stopped by that night, and Garry didn’t want any medical attention. Garry said he would get checked out, and he collapsed 45 minutes later."
Since his death, stars have flocked to pay tribute to ‘The Larry Sanders Show’ star including Judd Apatow, who remembered the man who "taught me everything I know".
He said: "Garry would see the ridiculousness of me being asked to sum up his life five minutes after being told of his passing. It is a perfect, ridiculous Larry Sanders moment.
"I can imagine how Hank would handle it but I just don’t know how to sum up someone I loved so much who taught me everything I know and was always so kind to me. I am just too sad. Maybe tomorrow I will do better."
