Frankie Bridge ‘forced’ Mollie King to do Strictly Come Dancing’

Frankie Bridge "forced" Mollie King to do this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The Saturdays singer is looking forward to getting out on the dance floor this weekend but the brunette beauty has admitted if it wasn’t for her then her band mate wouldn’t even be on the show as she was the one who persuaded her to sign up to the series.
Speaking to the Mirror Online, Frankie – who was runner-up on the show when she competed in 2014 – said: "So I basically forced Mollie to do it in the first place. And I just told her to really enjoy it and just go for it.
"I would love her to win it, I think she could. I know she’ll be amazing on it and with those legs she’s just going to look amazing in every outfit. I can’t wait to see her every week. But I only got to the final so I don’t really think that would be fair for her to win."
Mollie has been slammed with backlash since she revealed she was doing this year’s instalment as some fans thought she had advantage because she’s a trained pop star.
But Frankie, 28, thinks the cruel comments are ridiculous because the girl group mainly posed in their music videos and pranced around in killer heels.
She explained: "Yeah we danced but I always laugh because in The Saturdays it was mainly posing and strutting and I’m not sure that really works in a rumba or the jive.
"I do see where people are coming from, we’re used to having to pick things up and learn things and some people struggle but it doesn’t make it any easier."
