Footballers Wives stars want reboot

Zoe Lucker would love a ‘Footballer Wives’ revival.
The 44-year-old actress and her former co-star Laila Rouass, 47 – who played glamorous WAGs Tanya Turner and Amber Gates – would jump at the chance to work on the show again.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Laila said: "We had a really good time, it was very glamourous. I do miss it, especially now I live Essex, because a lot of the houses I see are ones we filmed in.
"I do miss it sometimes. I think I would go back. If it was as good as it was when we were in it, yes."
The popular noughties show was cancelled in 2006 due to falling ratings.
Meanwhile, when asked what their favourite storylines from the drama-filled show were, the stars spoke of a hilariously "inappropriate" scene.
Zoe added: "The baby-swap was so inappropriate – I wanted your baby because of the whole DNA thing and so I very inappropriately put a fake tan on her baby after swapping it. Unfortunately my real baby got squished by my pug."
The duo also revealed that producers of the popular show splashed out huge money on their outfits for the programme, including a massive £23,000 on one memorable shopping trip in London.
Laila said: "I remember when I started – I came on the third series – and in my first episode we’d gone shopping with [producer] Sarah to Bond Street and we spent about £23,000!"
Loose Women panellist, Stacey Solomon replied: "Did you keep it all? You could have put it on Ebay!"
Laughing, Laila said: "To be honest it was so over the top. It’s brilliant for the characters but you’d keep them as a memory. I’ve got bits and pieces and a coat."
