Fleur East wants to tour with Kanye West.
The ‘Sax’ singer – who shot to fame after coming second in last year’s ‘The X Factor’ – is determined to persuade the 38-year-old rapper, notorious for his outrageous on stage behaviour, to join her for a series of gigs around the world.
Asked who she would like to tour with, dead or alive, she said: "I would love [the late] Michael Jackson to join me and (his sister) Janet. And I would love to duet with Alicia Keys. And I would love Kanye West, just so we can call ourselves East West!"
Despite her career dreams and aspirations, the 28-year-old singer won’t be enlisting anyone any time soon as she currently has her hands tied up with penning and releasing her debut album after recently signing a record deal with Simon Cowell’s company Syco.
The curly-haired beauty has also just released her new catchy single ‘Sax’ and has tried to delve into her roots when she was writing it in order to highlight her true self.
She explained to Attitude magazine: "I had to sit on it for so long and only played it to my family and friends a week before it came out. I am so excited.
"It’s really old skool with a modern twist. When my mum heard it she said to me that it kind of sounded like the music she grew up listening to. The whole album has that vibe."
