FKA Twigs puts out a call for talented performers

FKA Twigs has put out a public casting call for new project.
The 28-year-old singer took to social media on Monday (22.08.16) to launch a mysterious new venture and made a call for performers stating that "no talent or style is too extreme".
Twigs posted on Facebook: "i’m looking for performers of all genres to audition for a project i’m making in london this october. no talent or style is too extreme.
"all performers must be based or be able to work in the uk. please email a recent cv, headshot and reel link to [email protected]. looking forward to hearing from you! (sic)"
It’s not the first time the star has reached out to the public for a collaborative project, as back in July she put out a call for participants in a free dance workshop in Baltimore.
Twigs – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – live tweeted from the event keeping fans up to date with proceedings and afterwards she spoke of how happy she was with the way it panned out and how grateful she was that people turned up.
She said: "This is like the best day I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not Mother Teresa … I hate the phrase ‘giving back to the community’ because it’s patronising. I’m so happy that it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. Imagine if no one came, that’d be so awful; I was like, ‘I want to do a dance workshop!’ and everyone’s like ‘Nah, it’s cool."
