First SPECTRE clip released online

The first footage has emerged of the new James Bond film ‘SPECTRE’.

The behind-the-scenes clip, which lasts for just under two minutes, shows Daniel Craig dressed in black firing a shot and running towards a burning vehicle on a snowy mountaintop in Solden, Austria.

Gregg Wilson, the film’s associate producer, teased: "This is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak. It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off."

What’s more, production designer Dennis Gassner has revealed filming has gotten off to a good start and he and director Sam Mendes are confident ‘SPECTRE’ will be an even bigger success than the 2012 film ‘Skyfall’.

He shared: "The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall. It’s going to be SPECTRE and so far it’s a great start."

The footage comes shortly after it was reported that Daniel Craig was injured on the set of the film, which prompted former Bond star Sir Roger Moore to offer to replace him.

Writing on his Twitter account, the 87-year-old star joked: "Sorry to hear Daniel Craig has sprained his knee on set #Spectre. Being 007 is not without its hazards. I’m available to step in if needed. (sic)"

Shortly after, however, it was revealed that Craig had recovered from his knee injury and returned to shooting the film, which is set for release on November 6, 2015.
