Finn Tapp ‘would love’ to join I’m A Celebrity

Finn Tapp "would love" to do ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’

The ‘Love Island’ winner wants to take part in the reality show even though he hates bugs, and he thinks the creatures on the upcoming series will be easier to handle with the new series taking place in Wales rather than Australia.

Speaking at the Hotels.com Dream Screen, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve watched ‘I’m A Celebrity’ every single year and I hate bugs, as if you watch ‘Love Island’, I’m sure you’ll know. I reckon I would love to do that.

"I suppose it’s just one of those things, getting over a few fears of mine and I’ve got so many it would be quite entertaining as well.

"I think in Australia, the insects are just bigger and scarier so I think maybe the Welsh one – I think it’s in Wales isn’t it – I think the bugs will be better."

Finn won the recent series of ‘Love Island’ with girlfriend Paige Turley but admits that he is "not too sure" if he would return to reality TV.

The 20-year-old star said: "I’m not too sure – I suppose it’s one of those things that if something comes up with myself and Paige, I’d love it.

"But I suppose it’s one of those things, it’s when it comes up, it’s whether it fits in and whether it’s the right thing."

Finn had been playing semi-professional football before entering the villa earlier this year and he revealed that he wants to return to the sport.

He explained: "I think I’d definitely look to get back into football. It’s one of those things that when I get back into it, I’d want to go into it 100 per cent. So I think I’d get a few things lined up and when the time is right, I’d think I’d definitely go back to it."

Finn was speaking at the ‘Hotels.com Dream Screen’ drive-in experience ahead of the UEFA Champions League semi-final 2020. Hotels.com is the official partner of the UEFA Champions League.
