Fifth Harmony tease new LP

Fifth Harmony can’t wait for the "magic" of their next record to kick in.

The ‘Worth It’ hitmakers – who found fame on America’s ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 – have revealed to fans that they will go away for a "whole month" to focus on recording the follow-up to their debut LP ‘Reflections’, which was only released earlier this year and shared that the "magic" doesn’t star until they are in the studio, so they won’t share any "specifics’ just yet.

Band member Normani Kordei told Bustle magazine: "We will be working on our upcoming album this September. We’re taking off the whole month to dedicate that time to recording. We can’t give you specifics or details because the creative process and magic doesn’t really happen until that time, being in sessions and studios. But yeah, it’s coming."

Meanwhile, asked who their inspiration, singer Camila Cabello admitted Jennifer Lopez is her "biggest" role model because she has "opened the door for so many Latinas out there" and herself.

She shared: "One of my biggest inspirations is Jennifer Lopez because I love what she has done with her career. She’s opened the door for so many Latinas out there, including myself. She is so hard-working, so dedicated. She’s incredibly passionate and so talented. I love that she doesn’t let anything stop her."

The girl band – Normani, Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane Hansen – are yet to give their forthcoming LP a release date, but will be taking time out this month to head into the studio to record it.
