Fergie’s wardrobe malfunction

Fergie suffered a wardrobe malfunction as she performed at the American Music Awards (AMAs) last night (23.11.14).

The 39-year-old singer perfotmed on the roof of a party bus on stage at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre to showcase new single ‘L.A. Love (La La)’ alongside collaborators DJ Mustard and YG, but was left red-faced at the end of her appearance when she struggled to take off a thin robe to reveal a tight-fitting bodysuit.

After initially struggling to get her arm out of the kimono-style gown, Fergie was left with it trailing behind her until she exited the stage, when it finally came loose.

Elsewhere on stage at the ceremony – where the big winners included One Direction, Katy Perry and Beyonce – Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea twerked as they closed the show with a raunchy performance of ‘Booty’ and Jessie J, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande put in an equally daring display of ‘Bang Bang’.

Jessie kicked off their performance by heading into the audience and grinding up against stars including Taylor Swift, Lorde and Khloe Kardashian, before handing over vocal duties to Ariana until Nicki entered the stage.

Other performers included Taylor, One Direction, Charlie XCX, Garth Brooks, Mary J. Blige and Selena Gomez.
