Faye Brookes ‘loved’ stage return for Snow White panto

Faye Brookes has "absolutely loved being back on stage" in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who played Kate Connor from 2015 until her exit last year – has been treading the boards in the Birmingham Hippodrome’s pantomime, and she reflected on the experience after the run came to an end on Sunday night (02.02.20).
She wrote on Instagram: "Honestly can’t believe we’ve come to the end of our Panto run here @brumhippodrome…
"I have absolutely loved being back on stage as ‘Snowy’ but even more so I’ve loved being surrounded by the most unbelievable group of talented souls I’ve ever met… Thank you to everyone who made this journey one I’ll never forget
"I’ll treasure all of our memories… I pray we get to work with one another again soon… ‘And That’s That…’ (sic)"
Faye- who previously appeared on stage in the likes of ‘Shrek’, ‘Grease’ and ‘Legally Blonde’ – filmed her final ‘Corrie’ scenes last summer, and at the time she revealed she was "so excited" for her post-cobbles adventures.
She said: "Cannot put into words how I felt filming my last few episodes as Kate Connor @coronationstreet But all I can say is that there was a lot of love in the room that day…
"It’s always sad to say goodbye, But when a chapter ends another story begins & I’m so exited about what’s to come … Nevertheless I will miss playing that feisty Connor but I’ll cherish every second spent with my Corrie Family.
"The challenges I faced, the experiences I had, the lessons I learnt, the People I met, the laughs, the hugs & even the tears. All I have to say is Bring it On! See you all on the other side Thank you… Next (sic)"
