Fay Ripley wants fans’ help to locate an episode of New Faces

Fay Ripley is asking fans to help locate footage of her stepdad’s appearance on ‘New Faces’.
The 54-year-old actress has issued an appeal on Twitter to ask fans for their help in finding footage from an episode of the 1970s British television talent show, on which her stepfather starred as part of an Italian vocal trio called The Cosmopolitan.
The trio won the show that week, and Fay’s stepdad is keen to find the footage, as he’s been in lockdown in Bergamo, Italy, for six weeks as a result of the coronavirus, and says finding the tape would "cheer him up".
In a tweet, the ‘Cold Feet’ star wrote: "My step dad has been in lockdown in Bergamo Italy for 6 weeks. He is desperate to find footage of his big moment many years ago when he won New Faces. Any help out there to cheer him up would be so appreciated. Thanks pals x (sic)"
Fay also included a picture of the appeal her stepdad wrote, which offers more information on the video in question.
The post reads: "Sercing for a Tap/DVD (Generous reward)

The actress commented on the blog post: "Any idea how to get this episode ( of The Cosmopolitans winning) for a member of the band stuck in long term isolation in Bergamo in Italy? Thanks for your help (sic)"
The blog’s owner has already replied to Fay, but unfortunately couldn’t be of any help to her search.
He wrote: "Unfortunately I don’t have copies of the shows, so I’m unable to help. If it exists then I think the TV company works have copies. Sorry I can’t help and hope that the person in Bergamo is safe and well. (sic)"
