Eyal Booker’s family ‘death threats’

Eyal Booker’s family have received "death threats" over his antics on ‘Love Island’.
The 22 year old was branded a snake after kissing Megan Barton Hanson in front of Alex George, but his brother Tal insists the backlash was a huge overreaction and he doesn’t understand why it sparked such a strong response from viewers.
Tal said: "It was all blown completely out of proportion. He wouldn’t have done that to upset Alex.
"’Love Island’ is a game and Eyal wants to be in there until the end, so he has to do what he feels is necessary.
"My family received death threats after that kiss, which seemed like a massive overreaction.
"It’s weird that people can feel so strongly about someone they’ve never met, but we’re trying to take it with a pinch of salt."
While Tal insists Eyal isn’t on the show to find fame, he expects his brother will embrace any opportunities to further his time in the spotlight once the programme draws to a close.
He said: "He hasn’t set out to be in the public eye but he likes to express himself and he’s good in front of the camera, so a career in showbiz lends itself to that.
"Eyal will take every opportunity that’s thrown his way after the show."
And the creative designer thinks his sibling’s feelings for Megan are genuine.
He added to OK! magazine: "Looks-wise, she’s definitely [his type]. She seems quite shy and like she has more about her than meets the eye, which Eyal likes.
"He’s very spiritual, so personality and a connection are the two most important things to him
"He doesn’t get jealous but he’s protective when he likes someone.
"He’s never going to appreciate someone trying it on with a girl he likes."
