‘Extra points if you know this song’: Taylor Swift gives Crazier an outing on Eras tour

Taylor Swift played her 2009 track ‘Crazier’ live for the first time ever on Saturday (08.06.24).

The 34-year-old singer was performing the second of her three sold-out shows at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland, when it came to the mystery song element of her ‘Eras’ tour, and fans got a genuine surprise when she treated them to a mash up of the ‘Hannah Montana’ movie track, which was paired with 2023’s ‘All of the Girls You Loved Before’.

Taking to her piano, Taylor told the crowd: “You get extra points if you know this next song at all because it is really, really old.”

Before the bridge of the song, she exclaimed: “Oh my God, you’re so unbelievable.”

The other mash-up for the night was ‘The Bolter’, taken from her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and ‘Getaway Car’, which features on 2017’s ‘Reputation’.

At the end of the three-and-a-half hour show, Taylor admitted the warm reception she’d received from the huge crowd had left her feeling “really, really powerful”.

She said: “Oh Edinburgh look what you’ve done now. You’ve gone and made me feel so excellent.

“I’m not going to lie that just went straight to my head. Now I’m feeling really, really powerful. You’ve made me feel so nice like I’ve just played a show to 73,000 people and that is why.”

The three shows mark the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker’s first concerts in Scotland since 2015 and she was glad to be back in the country.

She told her fans at the start of the gig: “I’m absolutely delighted to say these words to you tonight. Welcome to the Eras tour.

“I wanted to say just before we get into this on behalf of me, my band and all the members of the crew you have made us feel so at home. You have done a pretty astonishing thing for us. We’ve not been here for nine years and this is how you welcome us with the biggest stadium show ever.

“Somehow we managed to pack even more people in tonight. Tonight you’re going to hear a lot of songs.

“After tonight when you hear these songs you’re going to think of us and the memories we made on the ‘Eras’ tour.”
