Eva Longoria’s sister-in-law planned her wedding.
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star recently tied the knot with husband José Pepe Bastón and is glad she had such a close relative organising the big day as it stopped anyone leaking information about her upcoming nuptials.
She said: "I didn’t have to do anything. There was no wedding planning, it planned itself. Pepe’s sister did it. She’s an event planner in Mexico. We automatically used her and that’s how we’re kind of able to keep it quiet, because we kept it in the family. She really did everything.
"We had my dear friend Troy Williams who’s a wedding planner here to kind of put the American touch on it because, if not, we’re going to be having dinner at 11! I’m like ‘Troy, please help Americanize a little bit, cause I’m Mexican American.’ So, Troy did that and helped out on that side."
And the wedding planning was fairly stress-free for the 41-year-old actress.
She added to PEOPLE magazine: "I loved it because I was so busy. Plus when you have such a small amount of people, there’s not a lot to worry about. I kept going like, ‘Isn’t there more I should be worried about?’ and it was never the case."
Meanwhile, Eva previously gushed about how "magical" her wedding was.
She shared: "[Our wedding] was so magical. We had so much fun as you can see from all the posts from everybody. It was the funnest wedding I had ever been to. I’m glad it was mine … I just flew back [from the honeymoon] a couple of hours ago. We went to Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand. We had this amazing wedding blessing from a monk who tied these [red string bracelets] on us. It was magical. My honeymoon was magical."
