Eva Longoria to star in Visions

Eva Longoria has joined the cast of ‘Visions’.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress will star alongside Isla Fisher, ‘Hell on Wheels’ star Anson Mount, Community’s Gillian Jacobs and The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons in the upcoming horror flick, Deadline.com reports.

Fisher stars as a woman who is expecting her first child with her husband, and starts to experience terrifying visions of a sinister hooded figure when she moves to a remote house in the countryside.

Longoria is set to play the redhead’s fashionable best friend who disapproves of her life choices.

The movie is being directed by Kevin Greutert from a script by Lucas Sussman, with Universal distributing the Jason Blum-directed project.

Longoria currently has three projects in the pipeline – ‘Frontera’ alongside Michael Pena and Ed Harris, ‘Refugio’ by Damian Bichir, and ‘Any Day’ opposite Sean Bean and Kate Walsh.

The 38-year-old actress will also appear in an episode of Marc Cherry’s ‘Devious Maids’, the TV drama which she executive produces, in the near future as well as making her directorial debut with the first episode of the second series.
