Enzo Cilenti: Chris Pratt is an ‘awesome bloke’

Enzo Cilenti thinks Chris Pratt is an "awesome bloke".

The ‘Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell’ actor appeared alongside the ‘Jurassic World’ star in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ in 2014 and admits he was a "lovely guy" to work with.

The 40-year-old actor exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Anyone who’s funny, charismatic, kind, you know, it’s kind of great and there’s that thing where you meet some people like that and they just walk into a room and you think, what an awesome bloke. So he’s very much that, he’s a lovely guy."

And although Chris has gone on to star in one of the most successful blockbusters of all time, Enzo – who plays Childermass in the BBC adaptation of Susanna Clarke’s novel of the same name – claims he doesn’t always "envy" actors like him.

He explained: "I think the hardest thing for me in doing this job is when you’re not in a lot. You do a day here, a day there, you get a couple of weeks off and you need to gel and be perfect the first day whereas if you’re in a lot you just have that confidence of knowing everyone’s name.

"So that level of stardom … I mean what I want to do ultimately is just kind of quality, a life of quality … And to be really well paid. That would be fantastic because I really like paying the mortgage and I really like feeding my children but yeah, you look at people in that position and you don’t always envy them because it’s a lot of really, really, really hard work."

‘Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell’ is out on DVD and Blu-ray now from RLJ Entertainment’s Acorn Label.
