Emmerdale’s Rhona Goskirk and Pete Barton to split?

Emmerdale’s Rhona Goskirk and Pete Barton may be heading for a split.
The brunette vet – played by Zoe Henry – has been smitten with the farm boy (Anthony Quinlan) since they started dating at the beginning of the year, but it looks like the loved-up couple may be about to hit their first bump in the road when they decide to take their relationship to the next step over the next coming weeks.
Rhona is set to tell Pete that it’s time for him to meet some of her friends and she decides to arrange a gathering at The Woolpack for them to get to know each other.
Pete, who is clearly excited that Rhona feels ready to finally show him off to her friends, is left disheartened when he arrives at the country pub and his partner’s stuck up pals make it obvious that they don’t think he’s good enough for her.
The next day, Rhona apologises to Pete for the way her friends behaved but it looks like their difference of social circle may begin to cause cracks in their relationship, according to the Digital Spy.
The news that the pair may be about to cool things down between them will no doubt devastate fans as they were over the moon that Rhona had finally found a nice guy after she was abused by her husband Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) last year.
Pete also hasn’t had the best of times over the past few years as he was left distraught when his mother Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney) died last year after she shot his brother Finn (Joe Gill) and attempted to kill his aunt Moira (Natalie J. Robb).
