Emmerdale trio set for ‘painful journey’

Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt, and Daz and Dan Spencer are set to undergo a "painful journey" after Amelia Spencer went missing last week.
Laura Norton – who plays devastated Kerry – has teased fans they can expect the plot to be an emotional one and the storyline will be a slow burner as the trio struggle to figure out where the youngster (Daisy Campbell) has gone.
She said: "It’s just a painful journey from here on in.
"We don’t know where she’s gone, we don’t know how long for, we don’t know if she’s safe and we’ve all got a journey to live until we find out, until we get answers.
"We’re still filming it at the minute, we haven’t wrapped any of it up."
Amelia disappeared in last week’s finale after discovering Daz (Mark Jordon) is in fact her dad rather than Dan (Liam Fox), who she had been told was her father for her whole life, and Mark has teased there could be an "obvious" conclusion to the plot.
Mark added to Daily Star Online: "I think the viewers are going to be quite surprised because it will seem very obvious at first.
"It’s not. It’s really not, and every time there’s a conclusion, it’s not the conclusion yet."
Before finding out her dad is not who she thought he was, Amelia suffered some devastation when Daz discovered the youngster’s mother Ali Spencer (Kelli Hollis) died in a car crash.
He told her: "I’m so sorry angel but we’ve had some bad news. It’s your mum. She’s had an accident. She was in a car and she was driving to work when she lost control and crashed into a wall.
She refused to believe the terrible news, but Daz said: "I’m so sorry they rushed her to hospital but she didn’t survive."
