Nicola Wheeler is pregnant.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress – whose on-screen character Nicola King found out she was expecting in December last year – took to her Twitter account to confirm the news and revealed she only has a "couple of weeks" until she gives birth.
She tweeted: "Thanks for all your congratulations still got a couple of weeks until arrives. Unless he/she gets impatient (sic)"
According to the Daily Express Online, the 40-year-old actress is to start her maternity leave and has already filmed her leaving scenes on the ITV soap, but it is not yet known how King – who later found out she lost her baby – will leave ‘Emmerdale’.
Wheeler’s on-screen brother Matthew Bose – who plays Paul Lambert – was one of the first to take to Twitter to congratulate the blonde beauty on her news ahead of his return to the soap.
He tweeted: "Congratulations to my beautiful pretendy sister Nicola #baby (sic)"
A message on the official ‘Emmerdale’ Instagram account also congratulated Wheeler and confirmed Matthew will be back on the show soon.
A message attached to a picture of the pair read: "Congrats on Nicola Wheeler’s pregnancy…we can’t wait to ask onscreen brother Mathew Bose what he thinks when he returns! #FamilyPhoto #BabyTalk#Emmerdale #backstage (sic)"
Wheeler also admitted she cannot wait for the 41-year-old actor’s return to the programme.
She wrote: "Very excited for @mathewbose return to @emmerdale we all need a bit of Lambert love in our lives (sic)"
