Emily Head will miss Louise Marwood and John Bowe "for a long time."
The ‘Emmerdale’ star – who plays Rebecca White in the long-running soap – is devastated that she’ll no longer work with the duo, who portrayed Chrissie and Lawrence, after their alter egos were killed off in a horror smash last month.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: "It’s a very strange feeling that they aren’t here anymore – it’s really weird. We’re not even filming on the Home Farm set now, so everything has changed. On occasion I think: ‘I’ll message Louise to find out what she;s doing tonight…’ and then I remember she’s not around!
"John and Louise were here from the word go. I’d see them almost every day, so I miss them both terribly, and I think I will for a long time. They are such wonderful people and wonderful actors to work with. It is very sad."
The 29-year-old actress went to watch the big crash episode with Louise in London and admitted it was "strange" to watch her die on screen while they were together.
She explained: "John sent me a text message on my birthday in December, which was very sweet.
"And Louise and I watched the big crash episode together. She’d planned to have a few people over to watch it, and I was off that day so I went down to London to visit her. It was lovely to see her again, but very strange to watch her die while sitting next to her."
