Elsa Pataky got a Thor inspired tattoo years before she met Chris Hemsworth.
The 41-year-old model-and-actress married the Australian hunk in 2010, a year before he made his debut as the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
Spanish beauty Elsa believes that fate played a part in the pair’s love story because when she was just 15 she got an inking on the top of her right arm which is based on the "beautiful" story of the comic character’s "legend".
Talking about the small body art on her arm, she explained: "Yes, it’s about Thor and I ended up marrying the guy who plays Thor! It is shocking how things in life [turn out]. I just liked that [symbol] and the legend he had was so beautiful and I wanted to keep it."
The ‘Furious 7′ star has several tattoos and the collection includes a design in honour of Chris, 34, which is a "C" on her ring finger that was drawn by the big screen action man and a matching inking with Miley Cyrus, who is engaged to Chris’ brother Liam Hemsworth.
Elsa and Chris have four-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha and five-year-old daughter India Rose together and she admits her style has evolved to being much more "relaxed" since she and her family made Byron Bay Down Under their permanent home.
Speaking to Vogue Australia, she said: "I think I got to my style a few years ago and [realised] what I like and what suits my lifestyle. When I was living in Madrid, I had to [dress] more urbane: when you go to dinner you wear high heels and have to be polished and have different bags – so my wardrobe was really big with lots of more elegant things. But if you go into my wardrobe now it’s very relaxed because I have three kids, so I can’t go out in heels!"
And the blonde beauty – who stars in Netflix’s first Australian original series ‘Tidelands’ – likes to wear "sentimental" jewelry to remind her of her family when she’s busy working and chooses to wear all of her pieces at the same time so she doesn’t lose them during her busy schedule.
She said: "These pieces are all sentimental in some way. A lot of them Chris gave me on special occasions and I really don’t want to lose them, so I put them all on, and I do everything while wearing them: I horse-ride, I go to the beach … and I like to mix the hippie pieces that I like with more expensive pieces."
