Ella Eyre’s new sound

Ella Eyre’s new album features a "different kind of sound".
The 22-year-old singer has been out in Los Angeles working on the follow-up to her 2015 debut ‘Feline’ and she is thrilled with the results so far.
She said of the record: "It’s really good. I’m really excited and being in LA was really cool, being in a different environment, working with new people, it’s coming along very well and I’m really excited, It’s a different kind of sound. "
The ‘Gravity’ singer is taking a step back from performing live this year because she wants to focus on her new material so she is able to give fans something new when they go to watch her shows.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I am doing quite a few festivals in Europe, I’m not really doing that many shows this year because the next time I do a few show I want it to be a brand new set with the new stuff from the new album so at the moment I am focusing on that and making sure it is the best it possibly can be. "
Though she has collaborated with the likes of Rudimental in the past, Ella much prefers working alone.
She said: "I definitely prefer being solo. I’m a bit of a control freak. I like to do things but I do really love collaborating, it is really fun. "
